Spicy lamb patties with Greek salads

It was a lovely warm day today, so this evening’s meal was quite an appropriate one.

To make the lamb patties I used;

Minced lamb
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
2 green chilli
some parsley
1 teaspoonful of ground cumin
1 teaspoonful of ground coriander
1 teaspoonful of paprika
salt
pepper
some dried breadcrumbs

First of all, I minced the onion, garlic, chilli and parsley to a paste and added it to the rest of the ingredients and mixed them together.

I shaped the mixture into flat patties and left them to rest in the fridge.

Because they are quite fragile, I fried them in some olive oil rather than cooking them on the griddle.

I served them with shredded Cos lettuce, sliced tomatoes, hummus, tzatziki, olives, some pickled white cabbage, carrot and onion salad, a drizzle of chilli sauce and some mint sauce, and some pitta breads to scoop up the salady bits.
