Jacket potato with Winter salad

Not much cooking here but the salad was nice and crunchy; made with shredded pointed cabbage, the type they sometimes call sweetheart, thinly sliced crisp apple, red onion, walnut pieces, grated carrots and a robust mustardy dressing made with Dijon mustard, sea salt, black pepper, olive oil and cider vinegar.

I prefer salads like this to lettuce-based ones at this time of year, they are more textured and have interesting flavours.
