Griddled chicken on toasted pide bread

Not really much to say about this except that it was quick, tasty and really rather a nice way of serving a griddled chicken breast.

I opened the breasts out and marinated them in olive oil, some Ancona hot pepper sauce, salt and pepper before griddling them until done.

Pide is a kind of Turkish flatbread and I split it and toasted it. Then I spread it with some mayo and added shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, some asparagus, pickled pink onions, the chicken and a nice dollop of cacik to finish it off.
