About this blog

Mostly, this is a blog about food and cooking but occasionally I’ll use it for other things. I might use this as a bit of a diary, a bit of a place to rant or somewhere to post about things I like.

I might decide to write about history one day, music the next, it really all depends on how I feel at the time.

I have many interests, most of them fairly sedentary. You won’t read of any exploits involving me getting hot and bothered or exhausted.

I welcome replies. It is always nice to get feedback from people who have taken the time to read what I’ve written. Feel free to post comments.

  2. I am going to admit now, a bit late perhaps, that my dalliance with voting Liberal Democrat is over. Indeed, I have just applied to rejoin the Labour Party.

It was a waste of time, but it was really only ever a protest against Blair and later Brown.

Let’s see if a new leadership can create a meaningful Labour Party again.

  3. God’s turban and tutu, but you certainly know how to cook! Let me know if you and partner ever plan a trip to Portland, I will be happy to show you round the foodcarts! Over 500 now in a town the size of Bristol.

  4. I still have all the stories saved away. I did think about trying to get them published once or twice, not sure if they are good enough though.
